Sonacom IT Partners has been selected to connect residents of The Plaza in Clayton’s 30-story, 387,000-square-foot luxury residential tower to voice, video and data networks, providing technology that will be limited only to their imaginations.

Sonacom will provide network cabling for the 82 condominiums, customizing phone, cable and internet access to meet each resident’s preference. Residents will be able to choose the amount and setup of technology capabilities in their condominiums, including such options as room-to-room voice, video and data; data networking in every room; and separate phone systems. “Each unit will have the ability to get full voice, video and data,” explained Craig Colvin, vice president of Sonacom IT Partners. “The cabling and electronics will be centrally located, like most business applications, which will give tenants the option of networking their entire residence. If they wanted to hook up their laptop in one room and access a server in another, they could do it. The possibilities are limitless.”
