Sonacom Internet Solutions (IS), a new division of Sonacom IT Partners, has named Eric Jost as president and managing partner. Sonacom IS is a provider of web development services and filtered bandwidth to small and mid-sized companies.

Jost comes to Sonacom from Boeing Corp., where he assisted in the design and manufacturing planning of the Apache Longbrow helicopter, Space Shuttle APS, and International Space Station fuel tanks.

In addition to developing web sites, one of Sonacom IS’ services is the filtering tool, Screendoor.net, which provides control of information flow from the Internet to a user’s computer. Jost and Mike McNeil, vice president of Sonacom IT, started Screendoor.net in 1999 for business owners [and] parents looking for a worry-free Internet access solution.
